A 30-SECOND TOUR
  1. Compare negotiated item-level terms with purchasing receipts.
  2. Inspect expected and realized benefits, pending gaps and supplier performance.
  3. Return to this case study for the architecture and implementation context.

01 / THE CHALLENGE

Close the gap between terms and receipts.

Supplier benefits are only useful when contractual terms can be reconciled with receiving activity. Agreements, free-of-charge items, bonuses and credit notes need a common analytical view to identify exceptions and support financial controls.

02 / THE SOLUTION

Turn agreements into analytical checks.

I built a read-only Flask analytics application that compares negotiated bonus and credit-note terms with purchasing receipts and recorded supplier credits. Filtered views show expected benefits, realized benefits, pending reconciliation gaps and supplier-level performance.

04 / WHAT I BUILT

The engineering behind the workflow.

01

Agreement analysis

Read-only item-level agreements provide bonus and credit-note rates with effective-date boundaries.

02

Receiving and benefit analysis

Purchasing receipts, bonus stock and supplier credits support review of expected and realized benefits.

03

Reporting views

Dashboard, bonus, credit-note, agreement and benefits-record views support filtering, sorting and deterministic XLSX downloads.

04

Safe data access

An immutable, read-only SQLite fixture provides synthetic records without production connectivity or visitor write operations.

05 / ANALYTICS & BUSINESS LOGIC

Analysis with operational context.

Compare terms to transactions

Compare item-level rates and effective dates with purchasing receipts to calculate expected entitlements.

Track supplier benefits

Value recorded bonus stock and reconcile dual-confirmed credit notes against agreement context.

Support control reviews

Review expected minus realized benefits, including negative over-target gaps and unmatched credits, alongside supplier performance.

06 / TECHNICAL CHALLENGES

Preserve the logic. Isolate the data.

The public application handles supplier attribution, mixed units of measure, agreement boundaries and dual confirmation while preserving additive reconciliation totals. Deterministic XLSX serialization keeps repeated downloads byte-identical. Read-only data access isolates the application from production systems.

08 / DEMO & PRIVACY

Clear boundaries. Responsible sharing.

Synthetic-data demonstration

The anonymous public demo provides read-only dashboards, filters, sortable tables and XLSX exports. Supplier names, item codes and transactions are synthetic; visitors cannot create or edit records.

This portfolio demonstration uses synthetic data and contains no production credentials, patient information, or confidential organizational datasets.
